Donna Orlikowski started with employment at a retail design build firm. After several years, she moved to Rhode Island working for Delonardo International where she developed drawings for hotels like the Ramada at Times Square and the Dubai Abujar. Returning to Connecticut, Ms. Orlikowski took a position with the Carvel Corporation. Her duties included working with franchisees on renovation requirements and developing retail locations such as stores and travel plaza kiosks, and factory facilities.
She focused on Millwork detailing for several years, when she began missing the design aspect and decided to return to a retail design firm as Project Manager for clients such as Gymboree, assisted living, and office projects. Later, she took a job as a consultant for CIGNA Corporation, the team which was responsible for space allocation and space planning for the entire building portfolio. After working for several firms as a consultant at CIGNA, in 2016 Ms. Orlikowski came to Ni Design where she develops working drawings for various projects including restaurants and retail locations.
